AUSTIN, TX—Knox Ricksen LLP has welcomed Laura Smith as an associate in its Texas practice.
Before joining Knox Ricksen, Smith represented insurers, corporations, and government entities in a broad range of complex litigation matters. Her experience includes personal injury litigation, premises liability litigation, and insurance coverage matters. She has evaluated claims exposure, negotiated settlements, advised corporate risk management teams, and served as coverage counsel to insurance carriers. Smith also represented Texas state agencies in trial and appellate litigation while serving with the Texas Office of the Attorney General.
