MEMPHIS, TN—Baker Donelson has been named a finalist in five categories of the 25th Annual M&A Advisor Awards. The annual awards program, presented by The M&A Advisor, recognizes notable transactions, firms, and professionals in the mergers and acquisitions, restructuring, and financing industries.
Baker Donelson’s finalist recognitions stem from its representation of clients in two health care transactions involving significant business, regulatory, and operational considerations.
The Firm was recognized for its representation of The Prescription Center, an operator of both specialty and retail pharmacy businesses, in connection with a sale to a private equity buyer. The transaction involved complex transactional and regulatory issues arising from the combination of pharmacy businesses and ownership transition requirements. The Baker Donelson team was led by Shareholders Anjana D. Patel and Randall H. Lee and included attorneys from the Firm’s health care transaction practice.
