In the quickly changing landscape of South Florida law firms, Kramer, Green, Zuckerman, Greene & Buchsbaum, P.A. has remained a constant. Founded in 1983 by Robert M. Kramer and Leslie H. Zuckerman, attorneys with a specialty in tax, pension planning, estate planning and business transactions, the firm’s principals continue to be a powerful force in the legal community.

In 1994, Mitchell F. Green, an attorney with experience in health law, as well as a certified public accountant, joined the firm. Just a few years later, Craig M. Greene, a civil trial lawyer with expertise in the insurance arena, also became part of the team. The firm added an appellate division when Robert I. Buchsbaum joined the practice. In 2002, Kramer, Green, Zuckerman, Greene & Buchsbaum, P.A., was born. The firm’s continued success and longevity are based on a shared passion for the law, mutual respect for each other and a “team approach” with their clients.

The firm combines large firm representation with small firm attention offering clients legal solutions and unparalleled access to the attorneys handling their case.

Everyone at the firm understands that clients’ professional hours aren’t always 9 to 5, and flexibility is a necessary element of excellent client service. It is a fundamental part of the firm’s philosophy to ensure every client’s goals are met. Partners and staff are prepared at all times to respond to the needs and emergencies that affect the client.

Each attorney at Kramer Green is committed to achieving the best possible outcome for every client. The philosophy to meet clients’ needs is a statement rooted in experience, evidenced in success and is the foundation of the firm’s future.

Kramer Green hires only the most skilled, hard-working and innovative lawyers and staff to augment and complement the capabilities of the shareholders. As a unified team, they are all proud to be an integral part of a boutique law firm that consistently exceeds expectations.

Outside of their professional careers, the attorneys at Kramer Green enjoy giving back to the community and are involved with numerous organizations. Robert Kramer serves on the board of trustees of Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden, where he was instrumental in developing a tropical rainforest. He also serves on the executive committee of the board of directors for the Boys and Girls Clubs of Miami-Dade as the corporate secretary. He is particularly proud of his work with the board in creating an endowment foundation and obtaining Section 501(c)(3) status as a public charity from the IRS. Today, there is more than $5 million in the foundation.

For more than five years, Mitchell Green has served on the board of directors of both the Memorial Hospital Foundation and the Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital Foundation. During that time, they were undergoing their first major capital campaign, which raised more than $25 million. He has also served for the past 10 years as a member of the planned giving committee for both foundations. For the past three years, he has volunteered his time as general counsel for the David Posnack Jewish Community Center. In preparation for hosting the 2015 Maccabi Games, he served as chair of the legal committee responsible for negotiating and reviewing numerous contracts with arenas, vendors, hotels and other service providers. Green and his wife Lori recently attended a White House Hanukkah celebration at the invitation of the president and first lady recognizing their service to the community.

Craig Greene has also worked closely with the David Posnack Jewish Community Center, supporting various initiatives the center promotes. He is committed to the success of the Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital and is a supporter of Susan G. Komen for the Cure. Greene has also been an active volunteer as a baseball coach for Cooper City Optimist.

Robert Buchsbaum, who is a skilled appellate attorney, is a frequent homeless shelter volunteer, as well as a child adoption speaker. Along with partner Leslie Zuckerman, who focuses primarily in the area of disability insurance planning and collection and estate planning, the firm has strength and experience in key sectors.

Kramer Green continues to be sought after by clients, both locally and nationally, who recognize the dedication, experience and talent of its lawyers. While other firms have disbanded, lost name partners or merged, Kramer Green has retained its strength, presence and independence. Clients understand that when they hire Kramer Green, they are hiring an ally, an advocate and a firm that is committed to its clients and the community.
