NEW YORK, NY—Venable LLP announced that Stacy Marcus and Michael Isselin have joined the firm as partners in the Advertising Group in New York.

Stacy Marcus advises on advertising and entertainment matters involving celebrity endorsements, influencer and talent agreements, branded entertainment and product integration, music licensing, sweepstakes and promotions, sponsorships, and corporate partnerships. She serves as chief negotiator for the Joint Policy Committee, the bargaining representative for the advertising industry in negotiations with SAG-AFTRA and the American Federation of Musicians. She has served as chief negotiator since 2018, following a decade as legal counsel to the JPC.

Michael Isselin’s practice encompasses commercial and content production, talent and influencer marketing, brand campaigns, and sports marketing, including A-list celebrity endorsements, creator programs, SAG-AFTRA matters, and media integrations. He advises leading brands, agencies, and media platforms on event productions, music rights and licensing, NIL engagements, and sports sponsorships. Isselin also serves as legal counsel to the JPC and is returning to Venable, where he was a summer associate and associate in the New York office from 2015 to 2017.
Joining Marcus and Isselin will be incoming associate Emily Faro. Farro’s arrival further expands the team’s advertising, entertainment, and media capabilities.
