On February 8, the Cleveland Metro Bar Foundation hosted it’s 15th Annual Rock the Foundation Gala, Rock15 at the Music Box Supper Club. This event celebrates the foundation’s mission to provide education and access to legal services.
“To feel the energy in this room tonight, it’s electric!” said CMBF President Patrick Krebs. “It is such a thrill to host the best party of the year, while knowing that we’re helping so many young people at the same time.”
Judge Solomon Oliver Jr. was honored with the 2020 Richard W. Pogue Award for Excellence in Community Leadership and Engagement.
The entertainment rocked the house, featuring The Sunrise Jones Band, plus performances by lawyer band Rule 11 and The Sanctions and in the incredibly popular “Our Bar’s Got Talent” contest.
“Each year we throw a party for the community, and the community gives back with generous support,” added Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association CEO Rebecca Ruppert McMahon. “I’m always so grateful to our sponsors, members and friends who continue to make Rock The Foundation possible.”
Next year, The Rock the Foundation will turn sweet sixteen. The gala is expected to be held February 13, 2021. Stay tuned for more information.
