LOS ANGELES, CA—Tyson & Mendes LLP announced today it has added two new partners – Sheryl Rosenberg and Margaret Holm – from global insurance defense firm Clyde & Co LLP, strengthening its business litigation, personal injury and medical malpractice practices.
Rosenberg, who practiced with Clyde & Co for more than three years, joins Tyson & Mendes as a partner in the firm’s Los Angeles office. With 17 years of litigation experience, Rosenberg is a talented trial attorney whose clients include both private and public entities for cases involving product liability, personal injury, harassment, abuse, and bullying. She has been lead counsel on cases for high-profile clients in business litigation, product liability, and personal injury cases in both California and federal courts.
Holm joins Tyson & Mendes as a partner in its Orange County office. Holm was a partner throughout her time with Clyde & Co as well, where she emerged as one of the nation’s leading trial and appellate litigators for large health care entities in complex civil disputes – defending clients for professional malpractice, wrongful death, abuse, neglect, class actions, and catastrophic injury allegations.
Active in her community, Rosenberg is committed to providing pro bono services and is a board member of the Hydrocephalus Association and the Larchmont Charter School. She is also a member of the California Council of School Attorneys and the Los Angeles Advisory Board of PACER’s National Bullying Prevention Center. From 2010-2011 and 2013-2018, she was selected as a Southern California Super Lawyers “Rising Star,” and named one of the “Up-and-Coming 50: Women Southern California Rising Stars” by Super Lawyers in 2018. Rosenberg received her Bachelor of Arts in political science from the University of Wisconsin – Madison in 2000 and her Juris Doctor from Pepperdine University School of Law in 2004.
With a Bachelor of Arts from the University of California San Diego, Holm earned her Juris Doctor from the Santa Clara University School of Law. The American College of Trial Lawyers nominated and inducted Holm as a Fellow due to her exceptional skills in trial advocacy and civility. She was also awarded the prestigious rank of Diplomate by the American Board of Trial Advocates, which has been awarded to only three women in its history.
