BOSTON, MA—On October 17, Davis Malm shareholder Richard L. Sampson competed in Boston’s 61st annual Head Of The Charles Regatta (HOCR). Representing the HOCR host organization, Cambridge Boat Club, Mr. Sampson’s team placed fourth out of 30 teams competing in the Men’s Veteran Eights (60+) category with a time of 17:08.027. Mr. Sampson has a long history of competing at the HOCR and has held leadership positions with the race organization for more than 25 years. He has been a member of the Board of Directors and a managing director, and he currently serves as co-chair of the HOCR’s Course Committee, which is responsible for installing and removing the course for the three-day race.
