NEW YORK, NY—Dilworth Paxson LLP announced today that Stephen M. Lazare, Yale Glazer and Andrew M. Premisler have joined the firm in its Insurance Services Group, expanding the firm’s capabilities in complex coverage counseling and litigation. The team joins Dilworth from Lazare Potter Glazer & Moyle LLP.
The team has represented both domestic and international insurers in first- and third-party matters, including commercial general liability, first-party property/ casualty, professional liability, construction defect, environmental, employment practices, bad faith and other extra-contractual exposures. The lawyers also serve as pre-litigation counsel, work with experts and adjusters to assess losses and advise carriers and defense counsel on case management, settlement strategy and coverage issues. The team’s arrival follows the addition of three experienced real estate lawyers to Dilworth’s New York office in May and reflects the firm’s continued investment in growing its presence in the mid-Atlantic market. Robert L. Baker, Jr., Michael J. Willner, and Jesse M. Dimitro joined the firm with practices focused on commercial real estate transactions, leasing, and related litigation.
