ORLANDO, FL—Ball Janik, LLP is pleased to announce the promotions of Megan A. Picataggio and Jeffrey A. Widelitz to partners, effective January 1, 2023. Picataggio and Widelitz work in the firm’s Orlando office, providing construction law and litigation services. Their promotions highlight their exceptional work, experience, and results achieved for clients. Most recently, they both served as associates at the firm.
Picataggio has practiced at the firm for six years, specializing in construction litigation, including large-scale construction defect litigation and general construction disputes. Her experience includes litigation, alternative dispute resolution, and negotiating complex construction contracts. Picataggio’s knowledge of the construction industry, allows her to provide a unique and enhanced perspective on construction matters. She is a former President of the National Association of Women in Construction’s (NAWIC) Greater Orlando Chapter.
Widelitz practiced in Ball Janik’s Construction Practice Group for six years, where his focus on construction law has helped numerous clients solve complex construction problems. He concentrates on representing owners in prosecuting construction defects and insurance coverage claims. His experience also extends to large-scale residential and commercial construction defect cases. He is a Florida Board Certified Specialist in Construction Law.
