BOCA RATON, FL—Nason Yeager Gerson Harris & Fumero, P.A. shareholder John Fumero has been Reappointed to the Florida TaxWatch Board of Trustees.

Florida TaxWatch, now in its 43rd year, is the only nonpartisan, independent think tank that produces relevant and timely research designed to protect Florida’s taxpayers. Its research recommends productivity enhancements and explains the statewide impact of fiscal and economic policies and practices on residents and businesses. Florida TaxWatch is supported by voluntary, tax-deductible donations and private grants, and does not accept government funding.

Fumero, an attorney practicing governmental and environmental law throughout the state of Florida, has been involved in TaxWatch since 2001 and has been a member of the Board of Trustees since 2007

Fumero, for over three decades, has provided strategic legal counsel to a wide array of public and private sector clients throughout the State of Florida. He is board certified by the Florida Bar in State and Federal Governmental & Administrative Law. He formerly served as General Counsel to the South Florida Water Management District. His practice encompasses all aspects of governmental, environmental, land-use and development law as well as litigation related to these areas of law in administrative, state & federal courts.
