Gunster Adds Depth With Return of Simone Marstiller, Addition of Trey Price

TALLAHASSEE, FL—Gunster announced two new hires that will significantly deepen the firm’s Government Affairs Law & Lobbying capabilities. Simone Marstiller has rejoined the firm as of counsel attorney and Harold L. “Trey” Price has joined as a government affairs consultant. Both will be based in the Tallahassee office.

Marstiller is a lawyer, former appellate judge, and multi-government agency alumna. She has an extensive background working at the intersection of healthcare, technology and regulation that will support the diverse needs of clients navigating evolving regulatory and policy endeavors. Her experience includes leadership roles at various government agencies, most recently serving as the Secretary of the Agency for Health Care Administration and Secretary of the Department of Juvenile Justice, both appointed by Governor Ron DeSantis, in addition to a six-year tenure as a judge on Florida’s First District Court of Appeal.

Price is a well-connected consultant who leverages his statewide network to help clients solve complex affordable housing, real estate, appropriations and government financing issues, while assisting clients in navigating state and federal tax policies. For decades, he has counseled businesses through legislative and state government processes to get their projects funded and executed, and helped shape policy that advances statewide, domestic and international commerce. Most recently, Price served as Florida Housing Finance Corporation’s Executive Director, where he worked closely with Republican leadership to launch the Hometown Heroes Housing Program and helped write the “Live Local Housing Act” which was just signed into law.
