CHICAGO, IL—Freeborn & Peters LLP welcomes John Andreasen to the firm as an associate in the Bankruptcy and Financial Restructuring Practice Group in the Chicago office.
When working as a Law Clerk to The Honorable Deborah Thorne, Andreasen wrote and edited drafts of published opinions, written rulings, and other bench memoranda for cases and adversary proceedings under Chapters 7, 11, and 13 of the Bankruptcy Code. Prior to his Clerkship, Andreasen also served as a Legal Extern for The Honorable Deborah Thorne, as a Legal Intern for Farm Credit Illinois and as a Legal Extern to The Honorable Raymond Mitchell, Cook County Circuit Court, Law Division.
