INTERNATIONAL—The International Association of Defense Counsel (IADC) has announced that Karen L. Weslowski, a partner at Miller Thomson in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, has accepted an invitation to join the IADC, the preeminent invitation-only global legal organization for attorneys who represent corporate and insurance interests.
Ms. Weslowski focuses her practice on insurance defense, representing a wide range of professionals, including architects, engineers, building envelope consultants, insurance agents, appraisers, financial professionals, and real estate agents. Her practice also involves insurance coverage counsel and claims, as well as product liability claims.
Ms. Weslowski is a past chair of both the Canadian Bar Association National Insurance Law Section and the Canadian Bar Association British Columbia Branch.
Ms. Weslowski received her LL.B. and her Bachelor of Arts (First Class) both from the University of British Columbia.
