Miles for Meso Honored with ADAO’s Tribute of Unity Award

ALTON, IL—National advocacy organization recognizes nearly two decades of bringing people together against asbestos disease Miles for Meso, sponsored by Simmons Hanly Conroy mesothelioma law firm, was honored with the Asbestos Disease Awareness Organization’s (ADAO) Tribute of Unity Award for its collaborative leadership in bringing people together to advance prevention, education, and public health. The honor was announced during the 18th Annual Alton Miles for Meso 5K Run & 3K Fun Run/Walk on Sept. 19, 2026, in Alton, Illinois. It was formally presented the following week at ADAO’s 21st Asbestos Awareness and Prevention Conference (AAPC) on Sept. 26, 2026, in Washington, D.C.

The Tribute of Unity Award recognizes the spirit at the heart of Miles for Meso — the belief that meaningful progress is possible when people and organizations come together with a common purpose.
