Michael Kahme Sworn in as President of Mercer County Bar

PRINCETON, NJ—Hill Wallack LLP Managing Partner Michael Kahme, who has been a practicing attorney for 36 years, was sworn in as the president of the Mercer County Bar Association on Feb. 24.

Kahme, the founding partner of Hill Wallack’s Creditors’ Rights/Bankruptcy practice, has risen through the bar association’s ranks and said his focus as its 83rd president will be membership development and giving back to the community by promoting local charities.

The bar association’s mission is to serve its members and to help the public in matters pertaining to the law and the legal system as well as to promote the administration of justice in Mercer County, the state of New Jersey and the U.S.

As part of his strategy, Kahme will work with the bar association’s Young Lawyers and Membership committees to host joint events. His membership plans also include conducting continuing legal education (CLE) programs geared toward younger lawyers.
