SHORT HILLS, NJ—Weinstein Family Law is pleased to announce that, effective Jan. 17, 2023, Erika Handler has been promoted to partner.
Erika focuses her practice on matrimonial and family law, including divorce, custody and parenting time, child support, alimony, equitable distribution, relocation, post-dissolution matters and other related family matters. She understands that a divorce can provoke fear for the entire family and works tirelessly to ensure that her clients are educated and informed of their rights and options throughout the legal process. Erika is dedicated to guiding and protecting her clients through zealous advocacy, out-of-the-box solutions, and a cognizance of the financial expense associated with divorce and family matters.
In addition to family law, she also has experience in residential real estate law. This knowledge is invaluable when dealing with distribution of assets in the divorce process that involves the sale of the marital home or other real estate holdings.
Erika earned her J.D. from Rutgers University School of Law, where she chaired the Women’s Law Forum and served as editor of the Computer and Technology Law Journal. She earned her B.A. with honors from the University of Michigan. She is a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association and Union County Bar Association. She currently serves as a committee member for the Supreme Court New Jersey Fee Arbitration Committee for District XII, Union County.
