NEW YORK, NY—On a brisk afternoon of Wednesday, February 1st to kick-off Black History Month, Metropolitan Black Bar Association co-hosted with Judicial Friends Association the Annual Black Judges Celebration at United States District Treasury, 500 Pearl Street.
The evening celebrated the contributions of Black people have made to the legal and especially judicial system across New York state. Over 120 guests attended with 50 being judges; the one hour long celebration that was followed by a reception.
