Pond Lehocky DEI Committee provides Cards of Hope for Women of Change Shelter in honor of Women’s History Month

PHILADELPHIA, PA—Pond Lehocky Giordano’s DEI Committee collected letters of hope written by staff to deliver to women at the Women of Change shelter in Philadelphia, PA. This community initiative is in honor of Women’s History Month.

The creation of the DEI committee is Pond Lehocky declaration to continue to grow, learn, listen, and improve. The committee is an employee resource group committed to creating strategic, sustainable, and authentic DEI initiatives that support Pond Lehocky employees, clients, and community.

Women of Change is a safe haven residence for women, providing 25 semi-private dormitory style beds. Residents are offered service coordination, personal recovery services, healthcare, education, social enterprise and employment opportunities. Residents are encouraged to participate in recovery-oriented activities that lead to personal growth, well-being and self-sufficiency with a focus on moving to permanent housing.
The Committee was formed under the leadership of Founding Partner Thomas J. Giordano, Jr. and chaired by Partner Melissa R. Chandy. The DEI committee is comprised of attorneys, members of the Firm’s executive team, and staff members.
