DALLAS, TX—Texas-based Jackson Walker is pleased to announce the addition of partners Lisa A. Peterson in Fort Worth and W. Graham McCall in Dallas to the Corporate & Securities practice.
Also joining the firm as a partner in Dallas is Sabina Bramlett, who brings nearly 30 years of experience to the firm’s Trusts & Estates practice.
Ms. Peterson and Mr. McCall previously worked together at a large global law firm where their complimentary practices served the transactional and regulatory needs of private equity, alternative investment management, family office, institutional investor, and other corporate clients.
Ms. Peterson’s practice focuses on a broad range of transactional and corporate matters, including mergers and acquisitions; corporate governance; investments in private equity, venture capital, hedge funds and real estate funds; and formation of complex joint ventures and other strategic alliances. She has more than 35 years of experience counseling private investors, including family offices.
Mr. McCall represents sponsors and investors in the formation, offering and ongoing operations of a variety of private investment fund structures including hedge, private equity, private credit, real estate, energy and infrastructure, digital asset, venture capital and fund-of-funds. His transactional funds practice is strengthened by his regulatory background helping registered investment advisers, commodity pool operators and other corporate clients navigate complex issues arising under SEC, CFTC and NFA rules and regulations.
In the Trusts & Estates practice, Ms. Bramlett focuses on estate planning, probate and estate administration for wealthy individuals and families. That includes the design and implementation of wills, complex trusts, and other structures for wealth protection and minimization of federal estate and gift tax exposure. She also advises executors, trustees and beneficiaries through estate administration and estate tax returns, as well as transactional matters for privately held businesses. She is board certified in Estate Planning and Probate Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.
