DALLAS, TX—Winstead PC, a leading business law firm, today announced that Jeff Matthews has been elected as Chairman & CEO of Winstead. Mr. Matthews’ four-year term will commence April 1, 2023.
Originally from Houston, Jeff Matthews is a Dallas based shareholder and Real Estate lawyer who joined the firm in 2003. He became a shareholder in 2011 and has been Chair of the firm’s Business & Transaction Department since 2017.
Jeff Matthews succeeds David Dawson, who served two terms as Chairman and CEO, and was first elected in 2014 and became CEO in 2015. Mr. Dawson had decided not to seek a third term and will continue as a shareholder of the firm.
