The Iowa State University Alumni Association Board of Directors has announced the election of new officers for 2018-2019, including chair-elect Thomas Connop, a 1976 history graduate from Dallas, Texas.
Officers also include chair Lawrence Cunningham, a 2002 liberal studies graduate from Ames; immediate past chair Nicole Schmidt, a 2009 construction engineering graduate and 2013 master’s in civil engineering graduate from Ankeny, Iowa; vice chair of finance Timothy Quick, a 2001 marketing and international business graduate from Clive, Iowa; and vice chair of records Kathy Peterson, a 1995 speech communication graduate from Aurelia, Iowa. Talbot Endowed ISU Alumni Association President and Chief Executive Officer Jeff Johnson (non-voting), a 2014 PhD graduate from Ames, and Iowa State University treasurer Joan Piscitello (voting), a 1998 MBA graduate from West Des Moines, remain on the board’s executive committee as ex-officio members.
