Talk of the Town Announcement

WASHINGTON, D.C.—Littler, the world’s largest employment and labor law practice representing management, is pleased to announce that shareholder Erik C. Johnson has been named Executive Program Director of Littler CaseSmart (LCS) and Littler onDemand (LoD).

Johnson succeeds shareholder Scott Forman, founder of LCS and LoD, who was named Littler’s Chief Data Officer last year. In his prior role as Senior Program Director of LCS and LoD, Johnson was actively involved in overseeing the legal operations of both platforms, and he has been working closely with Forman over the past several months to prepare for this new position.

Johnson joined the LCS team in 2014 and has since taken on positions with increasing operational and managerial responsibility. As Executive Program Director, he will make recommendations and guide the strategic direction and continued evolution of both platforms to stay ahead of client and team needs. With years of experience as an employment law attorney, and well-versed in legal project management, and the unique staffing model and data-driven analysis that have facilitated the expansion of LCS and LoD, Erik will oversee the firm’s team of Program Directors, Program Managers and operational specialists who manage the platforms’ legal operations, processes, revenue growth and profitability.

Launched in 2010, LCS reengineered the process of managing employment litigation through a combination of data-driven technology, innovative staffing models and enhanced workflows. The platform has proven to provide cost efficiencies, enhance quality and consistency, and deliver insights that help clients spot patterns of potential business risk and guide legal strategy.

LoD applies the same combination of technology, staffing and project management to employment law advice and counsel. Launched in 2019, LoD provides companies with quick, consistent and thorough answers to workplace legal questions, as well as data-driven insights to identify trends, manage risk and drive stronger business decisions.
