WASHINGTON, D.C.—Venable LLP is pleased to announce that William J. Vigen has joined the firm as a partner in the Antitrust Group in the Washington, DC office.
Mr. Vigen is an experienced trial attorney who represents clients in high-profile antitrust litigation and government investigations. He was previously with the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ), Antitrust Division, Criminal Section II, where he led investigations and litigated criminal prosecutions against major companies and individuals for antitrust violations. At DOJ, Mr. Vigen prosecuted the first-ever criminal no-poach case and argued successfully, in an issue of first impression, that no-poach allegations could proceed under a per se theory under the Sherman Antitrust Act.
