Winston & Strawn LLP is pleased to announce that appellate and critical motions practice associate Christopher Mills was selected from thousands to clerk for Justice Clarence Thomas at the U.S. Supreme Court.

Christopher Mills is a litigation associate in the Washington, D.C. office. Christopher is a member of the firm’s nationwide appellate and critical motions practice, which was recently named among only 20 appellate practices nationally on The National Law Journal’s 2014 “Appellate Hot List.” His pro bono work was recognized on the “2014 Capital Pro Bono Honor Roll.”

Christopher has represented clients in a wide variety of state and federal appellate and trial proceedings, in areas including constitutional law, antitrust, patent, copyright, consumer products class action defense, employment law, and securities. He has authored briefs and motions in the U.S. Supreme Court and numerous federal and state courts of appeals and trial courts, and successfully argued before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit.

Prior to joining the firm, Christopher served as a law clerk to the Honorable David B. Sentelle of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit.
