WASHINGTON, DC—Honigman LLP announced that Mark Cipolletti joined the firm as a partner in the firm’s White Collar Defense Practice Group of the Litigation Department. He joins Honigman from Thompson Hine and brings more than a decade of experience with the U.S. Department of Justice, where he served as Principal Assistant Chief of Litigation in the Criminal Division’s Fraud Section and helped lead significant fraud and white collar enforcement matters.
Cipolletti’s practice involves complex financial crimes. With experience trying more than 65 jury trials to verdict, he has managed a range of matters involving financial fraud, regulatory violations, criminal procurement fraud, health care fraud, domestic bribery, money laundering, FCPA (Foreign Corrupt Practices Act) violations, and ABAC (Anti-Bribery and Anti-Corruption) matters.
Earlier in his career, he served as an assistant district attorney in Philadelphia, where he handled hundreds of criminal trials involving homicide, sexual assault, and other felony offenses.
