NEW YORK, NY—Labor lawyer Jessica C. Caggiano recently participated in a panel discussion on recent WNBPA collective bargaining at Sportico RISE, an event focused on the latest developments in the women’s sports marketplace. Caggiano joined Terri Carmichael Jackson, Executive Director of the Women’s National Basketball Players Association (WNBPA) and Briana Turner, a seven-year WNBA veteran and Treasurer of the WNBPA on a panel that was moderated by Fatima Goss Graves, President and CEO of the National Women’s Law Center. The panelists were asked questions about their experiences negotiating the WNBPA’s recently ratified, transformational new collective bargaining agreement. Caggiano concentrates her practice on labor law, advocating for union and worker rights at a time when these rights have never been more important.
