FLORIDA—Ball Janik LLP announced that associates Carter Bess and Daniel Trescastro have joined the firm. Together, Bess and Trescastro bring a complementary blend of high-volume litigation experience, strengthening Ball Janik’s ability to deliver strategic, hands-on advocacy for clients navigating complex construction defect and insurance related disputes.
Bess joins Ball Janik’s Construction Defect Practice Group in the Tampa office, where he will represent property owners. His experience includes first-party property insurance litigation. He’s seasoned in all litigation phases.
Trescastro joins Ball Janik’s Miami office. He brings extensive experience within civil litigation, independently managing around 200 active cases. He’s well versed in handling cases from inception through resolution as well as negotiating resolutions in breach-of-contract disputes. His legal background is vast and includes work in real estate, family, and criminal law, as well as service as a judicial law clerk in Miami.
