As a business lawyer, Amy L. Schwartz has been repeatedly recognized as a Minnesota Rising Star. She regularly advises and represents clients in business disputes and litigation under Articles 3 and 4 of the Uniform Commercial Code. Her clients range from small, local businesses to national corporations.
Schwartz joined Lapp Libra after graduating with high distinction from the University of Iowa College of Law, and has never looked back. “That is because the legal culture at Lapp Libra is extraordinary,” Schwartz said. “We work together to figure out how a matter can best be resolved. If there is any area where you don’t have specific knowledge, there is always someone here who can lend their expertise.
“We’re very collaborative here,” she added. “You’re never just one attorney sitting alone in an office trying to resolve a problem.”
According to Schwartz, the firm culture – less bureaucracy and overhead – allows her and her fellow attorneys to provide superb value for clients. “We’re competitive Amy L. Schwartz and efficient. Our clients get highly skilled, experienced attorneys from a variety of practice areas, with different personalities and approaches.”
Outside of work, her two young children keep Schwartz busy. She is grateful to work for a firm that shares her values. “The emphasis that Lapp Libra places on work/life balance isn’t just lip service. This is a wonderful place to work.”
Amy L. Schwartz is one of a community of smart, savvy professionals at Lapp Libra who are committed to providing “the best resources for business, and working hard to get the right answer and do it affordably.”
