David Abels is a law partner at Abels & Annes, P.C. concentrating on personal injury, auto accident, premises liability, and wrongful death cases. Dave was born in Chicago and grew up in Evanston, Illinois. He graduated from Evanston Township High School in 1987. He was an avid hockey player and later became captain of Evanston’s high school hockey team.

In college, Dave continued to play hockey for the University of Wisconsin at Madison on the junior varsity team. In 1991, he received his Bachelor of Arts degree from UW Madison.

After college, Dave continued his education at the John Marshall Law School in Chicago. In 1994, he received his juris doctor degree from John Marshall and was sworn in to the Illinois Bar that same year. He is also a member of the Arizona State Bar.
