HPU Kenneth F. Kahn School of Law Moves into Elegant New Building

The Kenneth F. Kahn School of Law at High Point University moved into its permanent home in August 2025, welcoming first and second-year law students and faculty to the newly constructed three-story, 77,500 square-foot facility.

“The new building has Neo-Georgian architectural design that is elegant, refined, scholarly, sophisticated, and detailed,” said Law School Dean and former Chief Justice of the North Carolina Supreme Court Mark Martin.

Dean Martin further explained that the facility meets the new realities of the legal profession: “We are training lawyers for the legal profession of the future. This necessarily includes training in the technological platforms, including artificial intelligence, that will be associated with that future.”

The law school’s 2024 inaugural class had met in various buildings across the university campus before the new facility opened. HPU President Dr. Nido Qubein held a ribbon-cutting ceremony to mark the official opening of the new building on September 11, 2025.
