Guillermo Araoz, CFA® develops, communicates, and executes tailored investment strategies for high-net-worth clients. He is responsible for managing complex fiduciary, agency, and individual retirement accounts as well as alternative investments. Your investment portfolio is often the core component to helping you reach your financial goals. Through a disciplined process aligned with your objectives and preferences, he will create a customized approach for you. Harvey Hutchinson provides advice on complex estate, business transition, and other wealth strategy issues. Through PNC’s personalized approach to wealth strategy, Harvey will meet with you to help identify your goals and integrate them into a plan. According to Harvey, “Unfettered and continuous family dialogue is paramount to a successful estate plan or family business succession plan.” Some of the areas Harvey may review with you include financial planning, estate planning (in conjunction with a client’s attorney and other advisors), retirement planning, charitable giving, college funding, business planning, and business succession strategies. Prior to serving as PNC Wealth Management’s Senior Wealth Strategist for Alabama, Harvey practiced law with an emphasis in estate planning, business planning, and estate & trust administration. Harvey holds the following certifications: CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER®, Certified Employee Benefit Specialist, Certified Trust and Financial Advisor, and Accredited Estate Planner®.
Trust and Estate Administration
Dean Johnson, CTFA®, administers the terms of trust documents in which PNC Wealth Management serves as trustee or co-trustee. He is a specialist in trust administration and provides insight and experience to help guide clients and their families in various estate and trust planning matters. Transitioning your wealth according to your wishes requires skill and sensitivity. Dean brings significant knowledge in the areas of revocable, irrevocable, charitable and other trusts. “In my experience, a well-designed trust is among the most effective tools for managing such risks as incapacity, creditor claims against family wealth, concerns including divorce or a child’s choice of spouse, and family member’s lack of ability, knowledge or maturity,” said Dean. He is a Certified Trust and Financial Advisor as well as a graduate of Southern Trust School. Dean has over 24 years of experience in trust and estate administration.
Gary Sheffer, Senior Banking Advisor, provides Private Banking services for Wealth Management clients throughout Alabama. His focus is on understanding and managing the often complex liquidity and liability needs of clients, with the goal of providing sound advice and innovative solutions that are backed by his many years of banking experience. With substantial resources and products available at PNC, Gary can provide you customized recommendations based on your specific deposit or lending need. Gary is a graduate of Marian University in Indianapolis with a degree in Finance and has 20 years of banking experience.
