James Moore Bollinger Joins McCarter & English as IP Litigation Partner

STAMFORD, CT—McCarter & English, LLP has bolstered its Intellectual Property practice with the addition of James Moore Bollinger as a partner in Stamford. A registered patent attorney with more than 30 years of experience in patent litigation, his practice focuses on pharmaceuticals, biotech, and medical devices.

A veteran trial lawyer, Bollinger has acted as lead trial counsel on numerous patent and trademark disputes representing Fortune 500 companies and has tried cases both to a jury and to the bench including representing several overseas clients in international forums on patent and IP matters.

In addition to IP litigation, Bollinger assists clients in building and managing IP portfolios, defending and prosecuting post-grant reviews (IPRs), prosecuting patents in international forums, and developing and defended branding and trademarks.

Notably, he has done patent work for several prominent professors from Yale and MIT, including Franco Modigliani, MIT Professor of Economics, who won the 1985 Nobel Memorial Prize in Economic Sciences.
