NEW YORK, NY—Laurence M. Smith has joined Day Pitney LLP as a Corporate Partner in the firm’s Corporate and Business Law department, resident in the Firm’s New Jersey office. Before joining Day Pitney, Smith was the chair of the Corporate and Securities Department at Chiesa Shahinian & Giantomasi PC.
Smith has a broad-based transactional practice that includes mergers and acquisitions, private equity, and venture capital transactions; syndicated, middle-market, and asset-based loan transactions, as well as the purchase and sale of loans, workouts, and asset recovery matters; and real estate joint ventures.
