CHARLOTTE, NC—Bradley Arant Boult Cummings LLP is pleased to announce that Theodore P. Pearce has been selected to the Who’s Who Legal (WWL) edition of Thought Leaders USA Franchising 2023.
Mr. Pearce is counsel in Bradley’s Charlotte office and focuses his practice on franchising. He has more than 35 years of experience managing the legal affairs of large global franchise systems, including Meineke Car Care Centers Inc., MAACO Auto Painting, and Econo Lube & Tune. In these roles, Mr. Pearce handles a variety of litigation and transactional matters, including landmark litigation matters defining the legal relationship between the franchisor and franchisee.
Regarded for his practical application of franchise law, Mr. Pearce regularly works on transactional matters for franchise systems and to bring new franchise concepts to market. He also assists franchisees as they navigate the franchise relationship and frequently works with private equity groups to assist them in due diligence efforts prior to purchasing franchise systems.
He teaches a franchising course as an adjunct professor at the Syracuse University College of Law, where he obtained his J.D. He received a B.A. at the University of Virginia.
